What do I get upon purchasing a package?
When you buy a package you buy a certain number of hours of live training with your choice of teacher, among an international pool of teachers specializing in teaching the language of your choice.You will be evaluated over the course of your training and you can download a certificate upon the completion of your training package.
How does video-conferencing work?
During video conferencing, you meet your teacher one-on-one using Skype and a webcam. During class your expression, accent, and vocabulary are primarily at work, while in between classes your teacher will send you various exercises to allow you to practice your writing, grammar, and expression.
What equipment do I need?
The equipment needed to take a class is a computer with a good Internet connection, a microphone, a webcam and the free Skype software. We recommend you put on a head-set (earphones and microphone) for videoconferencing, for your comfort.
Are classes suitable for young children?
Lingueo offers special language training for children- either as extra aid for their school work, or simply to enrich their cultural world. Lingueo is offering a selection of teachers that are qualified and experienced to teach children- making it motivating, fun, and effective for them to learn a new language!
What if we do not offer the language you wish to learn?
If we do not offer the language you wish to learn, please send us an e-mail to contact@lingueo.com. We will do our best to find a teacher for your language of choice and we will contact you as soon as they are ready to teach.
Will I be evaluated throughout my training?
Yes, you will be evaluated by your teacher throughout your training and at the end of it. The evaluation is based on the official levels of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages​​. The skills evaluated are: grammar, comprehension, expression, vocabulary and accent. You can access your evaluations at any time through your Lingueo account.
Will I get a certificate at the end of my training?
Upon completing your package, you may download an official certificate that details the type and duration of your Lingueo training.

Payments

What payment methods are accepted?
The payment methods accepted on Lingueo are Visa or Mastercard. It is not possible to pay by check or by PayPal.
Is my payment secure?
Payment by credit card on Lingueo is secure. Payment is processed through Payline- an authorized partner for processing payments. No bank information is stored and transactions are secure and encrypted by SSL 128bit.
Is it possible to be reimbursed?
It is possible to be reimbursed within 7 days after purchase date, if the pack was not used. To do this, please contact us at contact@lingueo.com.
How do I use a coupon?
To use a coupon, please enter the coupon code when ordering, in the field "Enter your coupon code, if you have one".

The training packages

Can I change teachers?
You can change your teacher at any time. However, We recommend you use this feature prudently, since it is academically more effective to maintain consistency in teaching style.
What is the validity of the training packages?
The validity period is specified in the description of each of our training packages pages. Validity of packages varies according to the number of hours purchased.
Is there an imposed pace to take classes?
There is no imposed pace to take classes- you are free to arrange your classes with your teacher, taking into account the validity limitations of your package.

I forgot my password- what do I do?
If you forgot your password, click on the "Login" button at the top right corner of the homepage, then click "Forgot your password?" under "Registered Customers". Enter your email address and we will send you a new temporary password. You can then change this password once you log into your account.
